Put-Downs
What makes us believe we can't succeed? Our friends, family, different groups, or society? Maybe sometimes we feel like we're the problem when looking into a mirror. We are judged by our appearance from where we come from or how we look so the other person feels better about themselves. We are told we won't make it because they're afraid we'll succeed in life and actually become someone important. In school, there are different types of students when it comes to teaching, but the teacher should understand how a student feels and thinks. When a student is failing and the teacher only tells them to do better it's not enough. The student wants the teacher to help them in their time of need when there is a problem. If the teacher wants the student to make an effort then they must put an effort into helping them. There are times when parents put us down because they want us to live there dreams instead of trying to live our dreams. Some parents aren't supportive to there child or don't even make an effort into connecting with them. Society can also put us down when different groups are segregated by the government or other groups and blame each other. If we truly believe we can make it and also have supporters then the people that put us down mean nothing to us.
